TechnoBiz PU Week 2026 Finalizes Kuala Lumpur Program
TechnoBiz has announced the finalized program for TechnoBiz PU Week 2026, a comprehensive polyurethane industry event scheduled to take place from 30 March to 2 April 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The multi-day gathering brings together exhibitions, conferences, sustainability discussions, technical education, and networking activities aimed at strengthening collaboration across the polyurethane value chain.
Hosted at the Putra World Trade Centre and Seri Pacific Hotel, the event is positioned as both an executive forum and an industry platform. It is expected to attract participants from raw material suppliers, system houses and formulators, foam manufacturers, CASE producers, machinery and equipment suppliers, automation and testing providers, as well as R&D teams and academic institutions. A strong emphasis is placed on Asian market dynamics and cross-regional cooperation.
Asia Polyurethane & Adhesive Expo and APBA Annual Conference
A central feature of the week is the Asia Polyurethane & Adhesive Expo, taking place on 30–31 March. The exhibition will showcase a broad range of polyurethane-related technologies, including raw materials and formulated systems, processing and dispensing equipment, testing and automation solutions, foam and mattress production technologies, and adhesive and coating materials.
Running alongside the expo, the APBA Annual Conference will convene senior executives and technical specialists from across the PU industry. Conference sessions will focus on market developments and emerging applications, with discussions covering growth opportunities in Asian markets, trends in flexible foam for furniture and bedding, and evolving performance requirements for automotive seating foams.
Sustainability-focused forum addressing circularity and regulation
Sustainability forms a key pillar of the 2026 program through the Sustainable PU Industry Forum, scheduled for 1 April. This international conference is dedicated to topics such as polyurethane recycling technologies, circular economy strategies, sustainable feedstocks, and regulatory developments shaping the future of the industry.
The forum will highlight practical approaches and innovation pathways that support a more circular polyurethane value chain, with contributions from global experts, technology providers, and industry decision-makers.
Technical training and knowledge-sharing formats
In addition to conferences and exhibitions, TechnoBiz PU Week 2026 will offer professional short courses on 1–2 April. These training sessions cover core and advanced topics including polyurethane chemistry, rigid foam science and fire performance, polyurethane adhesives and coatings, flexible foam yield optimization, and safety practices within the PU industry.
Complementary knowledge-sharing activities include a Polyurethane Research Fair, featuring poster presentations from researchers and industry professionals, and the TechnoBiz Knowledge Test on Polyurethane Technology. The on-site assessment will cover both fundamental and advanced polyurethane concepts, providing participants with an interactive learning experience.
Connecting the global polyurethane community
By integrating exhibitions, executive conferences, sustainability discussions, and hands-on technical education, TechnoBiz PU Week 2026 aims to create a unified platform for industry exchange. The Kuala Lumpur event is positioned to support business development, technical learning, and strategic dialogue, while strengthening connections across regional and global polyurethane markets.
